Murray Bridge / Murray Valley Standard Christmas Pageant, Riverfront Festival & Fireworks Spectacular.
17th November 2012
Murray Bridge/Murray Valley Standard Christmas Pageant is on 17th November 2012 – starting from Standen St at 5:30pm, winding its way down to Sturt Reserve via Bridge St and Mary Tce. The pageant is free to enter and we welcome your float entry. There is even a children’s section for decorated bikes and fancy dress.
Following on directly after the pageant, on the banks of the beautiful Murray River, is the Riverfront Festival – where there will be entertainment on the river, local musicians, roving entertainers and Santa for the children – all free of charge. There will also be a wonderful array of food, drinks and amusements. The entire event is a family friendly and alcohol free.
Then at 9pm the Fireworks Spectacular hits the skies. Community Groups, businesses and members of the community are invited to attend. This event is supported by Murray Bridge Business and Tourism, Murray Valley Standard, Radio Murray Bridge, Murray Bridge Lions Club, The Station, Rural City of Murray Bridge and local businesses.
