As always, the Wentworth Show offers a great family day out for visitors and locals alike, highlighting country living. Pavilion displays include cookery, preserves and produce, floral art, fine arts, photography, needlework and school displays. A feast for the senses, Wentworth and District Community Bank Food and Wine Marquee will feature a wide variety of tastings and sales for both food and wine. There will be horses in action, sheep and wool displays, beaut ute and shearing competitions, sheep and yard dog trials, trade exhibits and side shows. There’s a treasure hunt to amuse the children and the ever popular animal nursery. Junior Miss Showgirl, competitions such as wearable art, art sculpture competitions, dog jumping and whip cracking that will create a special atmosphere at this unique country show with the usual show rides and show food vans. Coomealla Club major attractions this year are the THE EMU PUPPETS, riding their giant emus, this Jackaroo and Jillaroo are a whip cracking good time of mustering mayhem and amusement. Get Wild Animal Experiences, making wildlife fun and exciting getting close up to animals.
