Rio Vista Historic House Guided Tours
every Saturday and Sunday at 2pm
Take a tour of the grand house. Completed in 1891, WB Chaffey’s Rio Vista, symbolises the dreams of the Chaffey brothers who founded the Mildura Irrigation Settlement. Built in Queen Anne style with Californian references, the house commands river views and parkland surroundings. After undergoing a trasformation into Mildura’s first art gallery during the latter part of the 1900s, Rio Vista house is now gradually being restored to its original splendor.
After the tour you can now enjoy what is being served at the new cafe which operates from the kitchen of Rio Vista. Open daily from 10am-4pm
