Welcome
Eco-cruising into the Coorong National Park
The Coorong National Park is a special place of spectacular beauty. With high sand dune systems fronting the Southern Ocean and a long, narrow wetland complex connecting the lower Murray River and Lakes system. It has international significance as a migratory wader & waterbird refuge, stretching nearly 150kms from the Murray Mouth.
The Kurangk (Coorong) is the traditional lands of the local Ngarrindjeri people, holding important spiritual and cultural significance. There are a myriad of archaeological sites that span many thousands of years, some of which we visit during our tours.
Let Spirit of the Coorong & Cruise the Coorong take you on a adventure experience with a cruise option from Goolwa across the Murray Mouth into the Coorong National Park. Cruises include spectacular sand dune scenery, wetland birdlife, expert commentary, Indigenous and European history, guided walks, delicious lunch and afternoon tea.
