Tongala is a major dairying centre and has the state's largest milk processing plant. Golden Cow Dairy Industry Centre, corner of Henderson and Finlay roads, displays the story of dairy products and production. Other features also include Landcare, salinity and irrigation practise. Open daily.
You can also experience the 3rd Cavalry Regiment (Vietnam), National War Memorial in Tongala as part of the Murray River War Trail.
