Murray Quad

The Murray Quad is a Quadrathlon – a true test of endurance with disciplines in swimming, running cycling and kayaking, basically a triathlon with a paddle leg. The Murray Quad is a unique event that follows Australia’s longest river “The Murray” over a challenging 141 km (88 mile) course from Yarrawonga to Tocumwal. Participants can complete the event solo or as part of a relay team. The individual winner will be crowned the “Australian Diamond Man” and “Australian Diamond Woman”
The Murray Quad is made up of 4 different disciplines and to accommodate those athletes not interested in completing in all four or joining a relay team, we are offering entry into any of these four disciplines, with the winner of each race the fastest time for that event.
1. 3.2km inland open water swim on Lake Mulwala.
2. 21.1km Running of the Black Bull Half Marathon along walking tracks and the picturesque Black Bull Golf Course
3. 91km Individual time trial ride through the northern Victoria country side
4. 25km Peaches and Cream paddle on Australia’s longest river.
