James R II is a great silver houseboat in our fleet, with a touch of luxury. Recently renovated with a new bathroom and kitchen, this houseboat has a modern club lounge in the front area with a wall mounted flat screen TV and DVD player. The houseboat has two contrasting queen bedrooms (one of which can be split to single beds if required) and a bunk room for two people. The two queen bedrooms have 12 volt plugs suitable for sleep apnea machines. Two double fold out sofa beds at opposite ends of the houseboat complete the bedding arrangements. The rear lounge also provides a private area for reading and relaxation, or enjoy one of the board games or a jigsaw puzzle (remember them?) There are two toilets on board, one in the bathroom and one on the rear deck. The kitchen has a gas fridge, dishwasher, microwave and oven with hotplates. Choose from dining indoors or on the shaded rooftop, cook on the rear deck BBQ or try your luck at catching dinner. (Always a winner!) With evaporative air conditioning in summer and flued gas heating for the cooler months, you’ll always be comfortable on board James R II. It has an easy start generator for 240 volt power and the houseboat has 12volt lighting. The houseboat is powered by an economical 60hp Mercury 4 stroke outboard motor and is very easy to manoeuvre for two or more people. Sleeping a maximum of 10 people, we recommend James R II for 2-6 people to ensure maximum comfort. This houseboat is pet friendly by arrangement.
